Re: My project disappeared - nothing in the timeline
Yes, I've been trying that. When I double click on them individually, all that it's doing it popping the view back to the Timeline view, which shows nothing in it but the single empty instance with two dark horizontal bands - one across the top and one across the bottom (image attached). When I sing...

Re: My project disappeared - nothing in the timeline
I've gone through the Project and Clip portion of the manual, but am still not understanding how to get my timeline view back with my project in it.
I don't mean to be a pest, but I'm running out of time. Can you give me a clue?

Re: My project disappeared - nothing in the timeline
You're right! When I click on the right side rectangle, and then drag my curser along the timeline, the images are there. My problem now is that I don't know how to get that clip to open into the normal timeline, with the different layers, where I can continue to work on it. Do you know how I can ge...

Re: My project disappeared - nothing in the timeline
Slowtiger, I tried that and what I'm seeing in the "project" view is this image attached. There are two vertical white rectangles with horizontal green lines through them, and I can see tiny type at the top of the frame with my project title in it. When I click on them, it simply pops back...

My project disappeared - nothing in the timeline
Help! I am a day into a project and had an issue which required restarting my computer. I made sure that i saved my work before restarting. When the computer restarted, I clicked on the TVP file, which is on my desktop. TVP opened, but my project isn't visible. There's nothing in the timeline. I've ...

Re: Toggle grid?
Sven,
A question - once I've installed this GEORGE script into my TVPaint, will I have the ability to assign a hotkey to it to turn it on and off? Or will it exist as a button on the interface that I need to click on?

Re: Toggle grid?
Sven,
This is so kind of you lay all of this out for me to try. I will give this a go tomorrow morning and follow (or at least attempt to follow) your instructions to a T.
I will definitely let you know how it goes.
Thank you!

Re: Toggle grid?
The way you describe the GEORGE scripting in your post sounds simple and reassuring, but YIKES! It sure doesn't look that way.
Thanks for your help Sven. I'll try delving into this GEORGE stuff. Perhaps I'll surprise myself...

Re: Toggle grid?
Svengali, That wasn't working, but I discovered that if I assigned "Add Grid" first, and then as you suggested "Guidelines:Display:Toggle All", it at least pops the grid on and off as I toggle the key. The issue that I'm running into now is that each time I toggle it off and back...

Re: Toggle grid?
Thanks Slowtiger, but through all of my re-binding of key commands, I've changed G to do something else. Can you tell me what the action on the right side of the menu for toggling the grid is titled? Under which heading it's found? I don't see anything that sounds like toggling of the grid.

Is there a hotkey command that would enable me to toggle on & off the grid pattern?

Re: Zooming and rotating by dragging the stylus?
This is good information. Kind of crazy that the option key isn't available on the menu for key assignments.
Given all of this, I might be better off just getting used to pressing the right click button on the stylus.
Thank you again for your help Cardin!

Re: Zooming and rotating by dragging the stylus?
I'm running into a roadblock. I want to program the Alt/Option key together with the Right Mouse Button command so that they're both actuated with a single key command. That would allow me to simply hold one key down while dragging the stylus left or right to zoom in and out. The problem I'm running...
