Re: Functionality of TVPaint with a Cintiq touch
CartoonMonkey, I've been second guessing myself on this for the very reason you bring up, which is the ease and speed of using other software programs with touch gestures. Right now, I'm thinking if I'm going to spend that much money for a Cintiq, I may as well spend a little more and get a touch ve...

Functionality of TVPaint with a Cintiq touch
I am looking into purchasing TVPaint Pro, and a Cintiq tablet. Is anyone out there using a Cintiq touch with TVP, and if so, how is it working for you? Can you tell me whether it works well or would I be just as well off buying a regular Cintiq and skipping the touch version?

Re: sketch line removal
Slowtiger, I think you were right about not using a black enough line. When I use the black pencil from the sketch panel, rather than selecting black with a pen brush, the black line stays intact after hitting the blue "X".
Thanks so much for your response!

sketch line removal
I'm new to TVP and using the free download version 10. Here's my question: I'm sketching a rough drawing using the blue roughing out pencil from the sketch panel. I'm then cleaning up on top of the blue line sketch with a black line. When I use the blue "X" to remove the blue line sketch, ...

Thanks so much D.T.!
And yes, someone already pointed out that I'm in the wrong area for my question.

Re: Global repositioning?
Thanks Elodie! That explains why no one was responding to my questions. I'll use the other forum! As for the repositioning question -- I figured out how to copy and move a string of instances, but my question is once I've moved them to their new point in the timeline, can I do a global reposition of...

Global repositioning?
I'm new at this and haven't been able to find an answer to this question: Can you grab a section of instances and globally slide them to a new position in frame? I've animated a character walking partway across screen, and I would like to reuse the first section of his walk, slide the section of fra...

repositioning an image within a frame?
Can someone tell me how to reposition a drawing within a frame? I've copied the starting frame of a character walking across screen, and I want to position it at the other edge of screen so that I can tween to it. I want to basically slide the drawing from one side of the screen to the other.

Re: Onionskin Problem
Hi Clo, I've tried that, but the ghost images don't go away. I've noticed that the small icon frames in the timeline also show the multiple ball images within each frame, rather than a single ball image. It appears that, by using the onion skinning function, the multiple images that you see while tw...

Onionskin Problem
I'm brand new to TV Paint and am trying to learn the basics. The issue that I'm running into with using the onion skinning function is that after I've done my in-between frames of a bouncing ball, when I play back the movie, I see all of the onionskin images playing on the test as well, rather than ...
